Rakesh Roshan was born on 6th September 1949. He is a filmmaker, scriptwriter, producer, editor, music director, and actor. He was a film actor from 1970 till 1989. He started his career with a supporting role in Ghar GharKi Kahaani(1970). He acted as the protagonist in women-centric films like Aankh Micholi, Paraya Dhan, Kaamchor, Khubsoorat. His other films are Man Mandir, Nafrat, Khandaan, Ek Kunwari Ek Kunwara, Dil Aur Deewar, Khatta Mitha. Film Khudgarz (1987) was his directorial debut. Since then he directed hits like Koyla(1997), Karan Arjun(1995), Kaho Naa... Pyar Hai(2000)debut of his son Hrithik Roshan, Koi... Mil Gaya(2004). His latest film is Kaabil(2017)which he produced too.
